Dominates Reality Fracture - MTG Prerelease Guide
To be honest, this is absolutely true, that's what I first heard about at the prerelease event for Magic: The Gathering's new Reality Fracture set.
Then at that time there was no limit to my excitement. I was overjoyed because, as soon as my local WPN store opened on September 25th.
I rushed there. To be honest, my heart sank when I saw the long lines of fans outside the store and the fear of low stock due to shipping issues.
Once again, I felt so sad and anxious that I feared I might miss the pre-release kit and all my hard work and hype might go to waste.
One thing is 100% true that your brother is not one of those who believe in defeat.
Then after thinking for a long time, I kept my cool and waited in line, then I claimed my kit. And when I sat at the pod table at the venue and cracked the packs.
I felt the joy and adrenaline rush that I felt. I cannot tell you all that in words. Then I built a solid 40-card deck in under an hour.
defeating all three opponents in my pod and winning three extra Play Boosters. So, today, without further ado.
let me share my entire emotional journey and the exact formula for dominating this Reality Fracture pre-release event. This is my experience.
What Is The Reality Fracture Prerelease & How It Works
To be honest, I was initially confused about what all is available at the event and what the schedule is, but this is how it all goes:
The Prerelease Kit Contents: That's right, inside the Prerelease kit you get 6 Play Boosters, a foil rare or mythic promo card, a set-themed D20 die, and pop-out counters.
Deck Building Window (1 Hour): To be honest, after opening its packs you get 1 hour to build a 40-card (minimum) deck.
One more thing, these basic lands are available from the store, but dual lands will have to be obtained from packs only.
The 4-Player Pod Format: I have noticed that, first of all you will be seated on a table (pod) of 4 people. Then you have to play matches with only 3 players from your pod the whole night.
Best of Three Matches: So be honest, this is absolutely true because I have experienced it. That every match is best-of-three and has a time limit of 1 hour.
What happens is that, based on the win-loss record, Play Boosters and Promos are rewarded.
What To Pack Before Heading To The Store
To be honest, the first time I went, I felt a little awkward seeing other people with gear. Now, therefore, you must take these things from your home:
Basic Lands (10-15 of each type): Please note that you should take your lands there instead of asking for them at the store so that it is easier for new players.
Card Sleeves & Playmat: To be honest, sleeves and playmats are essential to protect your expensive promo and foil cards from bad table surfaces.
Dice & Counters: I think it's to track life totals, +1/+1 counters, and status effects in the game.
MTG Companion App: To be honest, the most important thing is to keep the app ready on your phone to do WPN store registration and match life tracking.
Water & Snacks: I have experienced that pre-release events last for 3-4 hours, so it is very important to keep yourself hydrated and energized.
Draft Archetypes & Victory Strategy
To be honest, it's absolutely true that when I opened my Play Boosters, I saw that there are a total of 10 Draft Archetypes in this set.
Then first look at your rare/mythic promos and choose the strongest archetype based on their color combination.
One advice for you is, don't rush, stay calm and maintain the curve and make sure to put 17 lands in the deck.
My Pro Advice: First and foremost, don't stress. And second, open your kit, then coolly build your deck, spread out your playmat.
